Michael Cole, a lighting design specialist from NYC, was at Vinalhaven School on Thursday 1/6 to Monday 1/10, to work with Gr. 2-8th grade theater students, some high school students, and staff. In addition to sharing his experience as a professional working on Broadway, Michael taught them about lighting design and techniques, light gear identification and maintenance, and lighting color theory. 
Michael also worked on a long-term theater lighting improvement plan for our auditorium, Smith Hokanson Memorial Hall. Thanks to a generous gift, PIE is able to provide significant support to make all of this happen!
